2. Booking Lessons
AIPA offers individual tuition in instrumental, vocal, and music theory, available as 30-minute or 1-hour sessions. Any alternative lesson duration requires agreement between the Teacher, Customer, and AIPA. Upon registration, AIPA will coordinate with clients to determine suitable lesson times. Contact details may be shared with the relevant Teacher to arrange an introductory trial lesson, which is billed at the standard rate. Should you proceed beyond the trial, that lesson may be invoiced separately from block bookings.
2.1 Pay-As-You-Go Lessons
Lessons are typically scheduled on a weekly basis. Any adjustments require prior approval by both the Teacher and AIPA. All lessons must be paid for in advance when booking; sessions will not be scheduled until payment is received.
2.2 Block Bookings
Block bookings must also occur weekly. A two-week grace period is allowed in cases of illness or holidays; after this timeframe, a new Block Booking or Pay-As-You-Go arrangement is required. Discounts apply exclusively to bookings of 4, 6, 8, or 10 lessons prepaid at the full rate. Sessions are scheduled upon receipt of payment.
3. Personal Data
We collect and process your name, telephone number, and email address for the purpose of managing your bookings in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The policy outlines your rights, including options to withdraw consent, update preferences, request information, or submit complaints.
4. Re-Booking Lessons
Existing students are given priority for retaining their regular lesson time slot, which will be held for one week following the end of a lesson block. Failure to confirm within seven days may result in the release of the timeslot to other students. Requests for changes should be submitted via telephone (+44 7434 581034) or email (enquiries@aintreeinitiativesforperformingarts.co.uk).

6. Refunds & Cancellations
Trial lessons may be cancelled within 14 days, provided the session has not been attended. Once regular lessons commence, fees are non-refundable. For cancellations, 24 hours’ notice is required; less notice incurs the full charge. Pay-As-You-Go students must pay again before rebooking. Block Booking students can carry credits forward. Missed lesson time due to lateness cannot be refunded or rescheduled. In the event of teacher absence, a replacement or catch-up session will be arranged at no additional cost.
7. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing to the School Director. All complaints will be reviewed by AIPA, and the School’s decision will be final.
8. Liability
AIPA does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal instruments or belongings. Students are advised to obtain personal insurance coverage.
9. Behaviour
Students are expected to demonstrate respectful conduct and regular attendance. Disruptive, anti-social, or unsafe behaviour may result in withdrawal of lessons without refund.
10. Tutors
All tutors are appropriately qualified and possess valid DBS checks. AIPA maintains quality standards and may observe sessions for staff development and safeguarding purposes.
11. Safeguarding
AIPA is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff receive regular safeguarding training and enhanced DBS checks, and follow Liverpool Safeguarding Children Partnership procedures. Non-compliance with safeguarding protocols will be regarded as gross misconduct.
12. Supervision
Parents or guardians may wait onsite in designated areas, which are unsupervised. AIPA is responsible for children only during their scheduled lesson time.
13. Resources
Students may be required to purchase music books or accessories, as recommended by tutors. Where possible, AIPA offers materials at reduced prices through bulk orders.
14. Examinations
Examinations are available with ABRSM, Trinity, LCM, and Rockschool. Teachers will advise on student readiness. Exam fees and accompanist costs are the responsibility of the student.
15. Concerts
AIPA organises regular informal concerts to showcase progress and provide performance opportunities. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
16. Workshops
Workshops, masterclasses, and special events are occasionally available; these are not included in standard lesson fees and require separate payment.
By enrolling with AIPA, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
